Frequently Asked Questions:

1. Do you offer services to those who cannot meet with you personally?

Yes, I offer long-distance consultations via webcam or telephone if you are not able to make it to the office in person.

2.  What is holistic care?

As defined by Oxford Dictionary, holistic is, “characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole,” and, “characterized by comprehension of the parts of something as intimately interconnected and explicable only by reference to the whole.”  Holistic means that an individual symptom must be considered in reference to the whole human being.

A simple illness can be your body’s way of asking you to pay attention to the big picture. Dr. Esposito uses his training in chiropractic medicine in combination with other alternative therapies (herbal remedies, nutrition, and breathwork , for example) to consider what is happening. You and Dr. Esposito will be able to explore options for treatment together.

3. How long does it take to get results?

Each person is different and can improve to varying degrees. Some people may feel a dramatic improvement over the first month, while others can take longer to reach their checkpoints.  As a general rule, for every year a condition has manifested, it takes roughly one month of treatment.  Years of chronic stress and illness add up, and will take time to correct.

4.  What if I am healthy and don’t need to go to the doctor very often?
Dr. Esposito is committed to holistic and preventive care.  Most medical practices offer disease-based care, but at Inside Out Health & Wellness the focus is keeping the body systems working in harmony!  Dr. Esposito will work with you to address any imbalances before they progress to medical illness.  In addition, you will have phone, video and email access to Dr. Esposito, which offers you a partner in working on your health goals. This is  ideal for everyone because they are built around relationships, rather than disease management.

5. Do you accept insurance?

None!  Because Dr. Esposito does not contract with any insurance companies, you can be sure that she is committed to caring for you without being subjected to outside agendas. Keep in mind that the majority of income for most medical practices is through payments from insurance companies.  You go to the doctor, the doctor bills the insurance company, the insurance company pays the doctor.  This is a simplified picture, but essentially insurance companies are paying doctors’ salaries!

In addition, many insurance companies offer financial incentives for maximizing the number of patients seen per day, which pushes doctors to spend less time with each patient.  There are other financial incentives as well. Dr. Esposito  feels strongly that financial incentives should have NO role in medical decision making.

With all of this being said, medical insurance  for any unexpected or catastrophic events.

Most insurance companies will still cover labs, medications, X-rays, etc. that are written by an out of network provider, although some insurance companies will not. Call your insurance company to find out their policies.
