You are built to heal. Every person is a one-of-a-kind masterpiece. Your care is personalized to address the physical, chemical, and emotional stressors that make your situation unique. We use the best techniques from a variety of scientific disciplines to go beyond just treating symptoms. We’re here to heal pain and correct dysfunction, helping you regain and maintain your optimal health.
What does the evaluation include and what does it cost?
Our evaluation involves a comprehensive 90-minute exploration of your posture, mobility, and biomechanics, coupled with your initial hands-on treatment (provided there aren’t any reasons to refer out for imaging). The cost for this thorough evaluation is $250. Following this session, we will present you with discounted treatment plan options tailored to suit almost any schedule or budget.
Along with the treatment, you’ll be guided by an exercise, nutrition, and lifestyle program tailored to your goals and abilities.
By dedicating personalized 1-on-1 time from day one, we can craft a custom treatment and training program that gets you real results with minimal treatments. We will also teach you about your body and the things you can do in the gym or at home to take care of whatever ails you!
Subsequent visits typically range from $100 to $125 per 40-minute session, depending on the chosen plan.
We do not participate in health insurance. The reason we do it this way is so we can provide you the best quality service without being influenced by what insurance will and will not pay for. However, we do accept FSA/HSA (Health Savings Accounts) cards, as long as they have a major credit card logo (visa or mastercard).
Check with your plan provider for specific details as to what your benefits are and its limits. Sometimes, you will have to pay out of pocket, then submit the bill to your HSA plan.
Flexible Spending Account (FSA) / Health Savings Account (HRA): We accept ALL FSA or HRA accounts. These will usually cover all therapies we offer.
For patients who have an insurance plan that covers chiropractic care, we can provide a “superbill” upon request, which has all of the diagnostic codes that your insurance needs to see in order to provide you reimbursement for the services we provide.
Doctors of chiropractic are highly trained health care providers who focus on diagnosing and treating conditions related to your muscles, joints, and nerves, especially those in your spine and extremities. They undergo one of the most rigorous educational paths in the healthcare field.
First, aspiring chiropractors complete nearly four years of pre-med undergraduate studies, taking courses in biology, chemistry, physics, psychology, and related lab work. Once they get into an accredited chiropractic college, the training intensifies with another four to five years of professional study.
Their education covers a wide range of topics, including orthopedics, neurology, physiology, anatomy, clinical diagnosis, lab procedures, diagnostic imaging, exercise, nutrition, and rehabilitation. A big part of their training is mastering the hands-on techniques used in chiropractic adjustments.
In total, chiropractic students complete at least 4,200 hours of classroom, lab, and clinical experience. This extensive curriculum is approved by the Council on Chiropractic Education, an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education.
Beyond that, chiropractors are required to take continuing education courses to stay current with the latest trends in healing.
So, when you visit a chiropractor, you can feel confident knowing they’re thoroughly educated and trained to help you feel your best!
The honest truth? The best and worst thing about chiropractic is the variety in which people practice> In other words, you can go to 10 different chiropractors and have 10 radically different experiences. This is a far cry from the Standard American Health insurance model where most treatments are based on algorithms and not the clinical judgment of the doctor. This isn’t to say one way is better or worse than the other. They both have their place for different reasons.
With that being said, I can only explain what you will experience here.
With Inside Out Health & Wellness, it’s all about making you feel your best for as long as you need it. Many people choose to continue their visits because they love how great they feel and how well they function after an adjustment. Think of it as a boost to your overall well-being!
Chiropractic treatment is hands-on, so it requires multiple visits to your chiropractor’s office. Unlike a course of antibiotics you take at home, chiropractic care is an ongoing process tailored to your needs—whether it’s acute, chronic, or preventive care. We will guide you on what to expect and how long your treatment might last based on what’s going on and what is best for you.
In short, you stay as long as it benefits you. People keep coming back because they feel amazing with regular care. Our goal is to be a positive, uplifting part of your health journey for as long as you find us helpful!
Yes, chiropractic care is one of the safest drug-free, non-invasive therapies to date. Most people feel great after treatment, though some might experience mild soreness, similar to post-exercise aches, which usually disappears within 24 hours.
Some reports have associated high-velocity upper neck manipulation with a certain rare kind of stroke, or vertebral artery dissection. However, evidence suggests that this type of arterial injury often takes place spontaneously in patients who have pre-existing arterial disease. These dissections have been associated with everyday activities such as turning the head while driving, swimming, or having a shampoo in a hair salon.
Research clearly shows that people go to chiropractors with pain from a stroke in progress as opposed to the chiropractor causing the stroke.
To put this into perspective, the following situations have also been associated with people who have developing a stroke due to this rare condition:
Backing out the car
Having hair washed at the hairdresser
Painting the ceiling
Playing basketball, tennis or softball
Swimming, walking, or kneeling at prayer
Household chores
Sexual intercourse
Wallpapering
Washing walls and ceilings
Archery
Yoga
Turning head while driving
Looking up
Sneezing
Going on a fair ride
If you are visiting your doctor of chiropractic with upper-neck pain or headache, be very specific about your symptoms. This will help your doctor of chiropractic offer the safest and most effective treatment, even if it involves referral to another health care provider.
Neck adjustments are especially safe when done by a skilled chiropractor. While there are rare reports of strokes, these are often linked to pre-existing conditions and not the treatment itself. Compared to painkillers and NSAIDs, chiropractic care has far fewer risks and side effects.
So, feel confident and share your symptoms with your chiropractor for the safest and most effective care!
